Choose from trash cans with a Plastisol coating - a form of thermoplastic coating which has a softer feel, is approximately 1/8" to 1/4" thick, has UV protectant, is anti-fungal, can be used for outdoor or indoor applications, and on certain products is available with a 90% high gloss shine - OR with a Textured Polyethylene coating - a form of thermoplastic coating which has a harder feel, is approximately 1/8" thick, has UV protectant, is anti-fungal, can be used for outdoor and indoor applications, and more of a matte finish.

These plastic coated trash receptacles are made from recycled material - everything from the steel tubing, steel angle iron, #9 expanded metal (or punched metal) is 30% to 100% recycled. Even the package it comes in is made from 100% recycled material!
