The Confluence embodies a convergence of ideas into one thoughtful design. Its back-to-back configuration allows for the collection of recyclable and non-recyclable litter in one unit. Both sides are constructed of extruded-aluminum slats welded onto cast-aluminum top and bottom frames. The sides swing open from the central welded steel support for unencumbered access and reduced lifting.

The Confluence's construction ensures long life and high recycled content. Cast- and extruded-aluminum imparts a traditional look of metal and added corrosion resistance compared with wrought-iron or steel.
